Institute of Graduate Studies
The Institute of Graduate Studies (IGS) Sultan Idris Education University was formerly known as the Postgraduate Unit established in 1997, the same year as UPSI was established. In 2000, the postgraduate unit was upgraded to the Centre for Graduate Studies. On 1st October 2001 it was further upgraded to the Institute of Graduate Studies with the broadening of its functions to cater for the need to expand its programs to the Master and Doctoral levels.
