PERDANA ESSAY COMPETITION 2010

ATTENTION TO ALL UPSI

It is plasure to invite the students of Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI) to participate in Perdana Leadership Foundation's "Nurturing the Minds of Future Leaders" Essay Competition that will run untill the 30th of September 2010. This year, Perdana Leadership Foundation is collaborating with MPH Bookstores to organise the competition, which was launched on the 21st of May 2010.

The objective of this contest are to solicit opinions on Malaysia's global standing and Vision 2020 from young Malaysian, and to promote sound reserch, critical thinking as well as analytical writing skills. This is in line with the Goverment's push to raise awareness og national and international issues among Malaysian youth and to increase their sense of ownership over this nation's future. Essay can be written in either Bahasa Malaysia or English, though the use of English is strongly encouraged.

The essay competition is open to all Malaysian aged 18 - 25. This is the third time that Perdana Leadership Foundation is organising this Essay Competition as part of our Public Outreach initiative. As per our pervios contests, there are attractive prizes to be won by both students and Institutuons. This year, the Grands Prize winner will win RM 7,000.00 in cash along an-E-Reader and a Netbook while his or her institutions will win a computer workstation as well as RM 500.00 worth of books from MPH Bookstores.
