The Faculty of Human Development (FPM) was established on 1st June 2010, following the restructuring and rebranding of the faculty. It is the largest faculty at UPSI. Originally, FPM was known as the Faculty of Cognitive Sciences and Human Development. The faculty has existed since the founding of Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI) in 1996. Faculty of Management and Economics
The Faculty of Management and Economics, formerly known as the Faculty of Business and Economics, was established in November 2002 in accordance with the development of Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris. The establishment of the faculty was in line with the government’s vision to produce teachers who are professionals in the field of management, accountancy, and economics to cater to the needs of the country. The faculty offers degrees in Bachelor of Education as well as Master’s and PhD levels in the education and non-education field.
The Faculty of Management and Economics obtained the Certificate of ISO 9001: 2000 on 18th November 2003. It was the first faculty to be awarded the certificate in the University. In an effort to strengthen the field of education, the faculty aims to further promote knowledge through teaching, research, publications, and consultancy to cater to the needs of our clients and other concerned parties.

Originally established as the Department of Social Studies at Sultan Idris Teaching Institute (IPSI), FSK has grown in line with UPSI’s mission to offer quality education in Malaysia.
